Easy Green Bean Stir-Fry

I love making green beans, but sometimes I just want to add a little something extra to these delicious and super crunchy veggies. If you are looking to add a new twist to your green bean dish, then here’s a recipe that you may like.

I found this a while back on All Recipes. It’s a green bean stir-fry dish that has become quite popular in my home and is so simple to make!

Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peanut butter
  • 3/4 pound fresh green beans, cleaned and trimmed
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons oil (I use olive)
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, peanut butter, and sesame seeds, then set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, stir-fry the green beans in oil until crisp-tender.
  3. Remove skillet from the heat.
  4. Add the soy sauce mixture and stir to coat.

ENJOY!! I never have any leftovers remaining whenever I make this!

I love orange chicken! This has more of a soy sauce base, but I think it would be good as a side dish with the orange chicken. Thank you for stopping by! :-)
