My Kmart Decorate it Forward Experience & Gift Card Giveaway

As a Smiley360 blogger (and member), I was recently given the opportunity to join the Decorate it Forward mission sponsored by Kmart.
Kmart created the Decorate it Forward movement as way to help spread holiday cheer with family and friends through a variety of avenues, such as decorating and entertaining. You can even find tips and ideas on how to give your holidays that extra special touch.

I knew this mission was right up my alley. Christmas is a special time for me both spiritually and in the festive sense. Decorating the home for the holidays has always been a fun tradition for the family and I. Being part of the Decorate it Forward mission has provided me with the opportunity to purchase a little something extra from the Kmart Christmas Shop to add to our holiday d├ęcor collection.

Of course I had to peruse the holiday section of Kmart for a little while, because there were so many precious items to choose from. Plus, I had to share some of my favorites with you (Forewarning, the following may be picture overload, but they are sure to put you in the Christmas spirit).

Kmart has decorations for all of the rooms in your home. That Santa head in the right-hand photo, below, is a toilet seat cover (I actually thought it was adorable):

How about this door sign. What perfect way to offer a warm welcome to your guests:

If you are a Disney fan, then they have a section for you:

If you're looking to decorate the place with snowmen, how about these charming stocking holders:

Or this tree skirt (who can resist the sweet smile of a snowman):

Also, if you are looking to garnish your Christmas tree with a colored theme, check out these packs of single-colored ornaments (They had tons of different colors to chose from):

Some of the other products that I found in the Kmart Christmas section really stirred up some old childhood holiday memories. A Christmas story is one of my favorite holiday movies and who doesn't remember the old Rankin/Bass Rudolph characters? This Abominable Snow Monster must've stood approximately two feet tall:

Finally, I would love to share what I actually decided to purchase, using the Kmart gift card that was provided to me. We have bins and bins of holiday decorations, but one of the things we didn't have were mats for the floor. I decided to pick up this adorable penguin mat for the kitchen:

And this snowman mat for the front door:

The final thing I picked up was this snowman hand and fingertip three-piece towel set (you see...I couldn't even resist that snowman smile), which will be perfect in our upstairs bathroom:

On a side note, I highly recommend signing up for a Shop Your Way Rewards card. It’s free and easy. Every time you make a purchase at a Kmart or Sears store, have the attendant scan your card to accumulate points that convert to credits off your future purchases.

Kmart's Decorate it Forward program also offers lots of additional ways to make someone else’s holiday brighter. For instance, this St. Jude Holiday Collectable Bear Ornament makes a wonderful gift and each time one is purchased, Kmart will donate a $1.00 to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. There’s even an opportunity to enter for your chance to win a holiday shopping spree with Sandra Lee or Jaclyn Smith. You could also create your own virtual ornament to send to friends and family. This is a lovely way to spread some holiday cheer in your own personal way to those you care about.

Smiley360 and Kmart allowed me to Decorate it Forward, and now here's your chance to jumpstart your holiday season, as well!!!

One lucky winner will have the chance to win a $15.00 gift card courtesy of Kmart and Smiley360! You may enter the giveaway through the Rafflecopter form, below, and follow the additional steps if you wish to receive extra entries into the giveaway. Each additional entry will increase your chances of winning.

GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Note: Although, I am hosting this giveaway, Smiley360 will be directly responsible for providing the winner with the prize. Once the giveaway closes, I will notify the winner via email.
