The Bible is filled with amazing books. Although I have many favorites, the Book of the Proverbs is definitely one of them, as it teaches values and how to lead a wholesome life. I recently read Proverbs Prayer, which presents an effective way to read, learn, and understand the Book of Proverbs with a combination of scripture and prayer.

The book of Proverbs is a wellspring of wisdom, offering practical guidance for life and the tools to make good choices, withstand pressure, prioritize relationships, and avoid unnecessary trouble. Now bestselling author John Mason helps you make that wisdom a part of your inner life. For thirty-one days, he takes you through each chapter of Proverbs, unpacking the wisdom within and providing a heartfelt prayer based on the insights from that chapter. As you read and pray, you'll discover the principles found in this wisdom-packed book coming alive in your life in ways you may never have imagined.

Proverbs Prayer is a thirty-one day devotional that helps the reader gain a better understanding of the Christian ideals that are discussed in the Bible's Book of Proverbs. There are thirty-one chapters, one for each Proverb, along with a prayer that corresponds with the words you've just read. In the back of the book, you'll also find a summarized reference guide to the Proverbs Principles. This additional feature is actually quite handy.
I really enjoyed Proverbs Prayer! It's easy to read and follow along with. It also serves as a truly amazing guide to morals and values. Although, I've read the Proverbs many times, I actually walked away with an even clearer understanding of it. If you enjoy reading the Book of Proverbs or have been looking to start, then I highly recommend picking up Proverbs Prayer, for some added guidance and encouragement.
