Blessings for Each Day of the Year: Grace for the Moment Devotional Bundle {Review and GIVEAWAY}

Pin It

I love being able to take a moment out of each day to spend time with the Lord. Some days can be busier than others, but no matter what, I try to fit in that special time with God. Not only do these quiet times bring me closer to Him, but they give me peace and encouragement. Grace for the Moment is a cherished little devotional book that I've recently started to use during those moments. It makes for a wonderful stand alone devotional, but can also be a great companion along with the Bible. There's even a Grace for the Moment book made especially for children. I immediately thought of my son, and how this would be a wonderful reading tool for him when he gets older.

ABOUT GRACE FOR THE MOMENT:
For such a small book, Grace for the Moment© has had a major impact on countless lives. With more than 2,500,000 copies sold, this devotional continues to touch lives as it emphasizes the help and hope of God in everyday moments. Each daily reading features devotional writings from Max Lucado's numerous bestsellers as well as a Scripture verse selected especially for that day's reading. This new classic is available in hardcover as well as in both green and burgundy eurobond leather.

ABOUT GRACE FOR THE MOMENT: 365 DEVOTIONS FOR KIDS
Give Your Child the Gift of God’s Grace—Every Day. Grace is: God’s best idea . . . More than we deserve … And greater than we imagine. But how can you plant this important message of grace into the heart of your child? Adapted from the best-selling devotional for adults (with more than 3 million copies sold), Grace for the Moment: 365 Devotions for Kids presents the message of God’s grace in a way that children can understand. It’s perfect for families to read together or for older readers to enjoy alone. Each day offers a devotion and scripture to encourage regular time with God. And because giving grace is just as important as receiving it, a “Growing in Grace” opportunity accompanies each devotion, offering practical and easy-to-do activities to help kids apply God’s grace—every day and every moment.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
More than 120 million readers have found inspiration and encouragement in the writings of Max Lucado. He lives with his wife, Denalyn, and their mischievous mutt, Andy, in San Antonio, Texas, where he serves the people of Oak Hills Church.

Grace for the Moment is one of those books where even if you only have five minutes, you will be able to take in a special word from God. This beautiful little book is small enough that you can even bring it with you on the go. There are 365 devotions for each day of the year. Each one starts off with a scripture verse and then continues on with a special thought for the day.

Grace for the Moment: 365 Devotions for Kids is almost an exact version of its adult counterpart, but is physically a bit larger and offers a version of text more suitable for older children to read and relate to. Other than that, both the adult and children's versions of Grace for the Moment are one and the same. This is something that I really like about both versions. Although he is still a toddler, I do picture a time when my son and I can sit and read our devotionals together and discuss them with each other. The Grace for the Moment bundle would be perfect for this.

Both books also start off with an excerpt from Max Lucado's When God Whispers Your NameI Choose Love, I Choose Joy, I Choose Peace, I Choose Patience, etc. I love that he added this. I often find myself going back to this section over and over again, because it offers amazing insight and inspiration on God's desired mindset for us. I highly recommend both books to those (both adults and children) who seek God's encouragement in life's everyday moments.

I'm also blessed with a wonderful giveaway opportunity for Our Everyday Harvest readers. One winner will be chosen to receive a special bundle pack that contains both Grace for the Moment and Grace for the Moment: 365 Devotions for Kids.
