Throughout my life, I've always been fascinated with the subject of angels. Do they exist? What do they really look like? Do I have a guardian angel? These are some of the questions that I've previously pondered. The beauty of it is– all of these questions can be answered right in the Bible. According to what is written, angels most certainly do exist. Many accounts in the Bible show us that they can take on many different appearances. As for guardians angels, throughout God's word we can see multiple mentions of them watching over us–protecting us.

For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.– Psalm 91:11

The rider standing among the myrtle trees then explained, “They are the ones the LORD has sent out to patrol the earth.”– Zechariah 1:10

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?– Hebrews 1:14

Often times when we read the Bible, verses such as the ones, above, stand out for us. Then there are others times when the evidence of angels in the Bible are not quite as obvious. Of course there are many valuable books out there that talk about angels, one of these books is Angels in the Bible Storybook

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Where were the angels when God created the world? Why did an angel force a donkey off a road? Who did the angels get out of jail twice? Young readers will find answers to these and other questions in this exciting storybook, written by bestselling author Allia Zobel Nolan with illustrations by Alida Massari. Angels in the Bible Storybook gives children a fascinating look into how God’s powerful behind-the-scenes helpers interacted with Bible greats from Abraham, Lot, and Gideon to Zechariah, Mary, and Jesus himself, acting as messengers, protectors, warriors, and more.

My family has been blessed with so many amazing books, lately. Ones such as Angels in the Bible Storybook have proven to be quite extraordinary. You see this is not just a book about angels written from a personal point of view, instead it's comprised of actual stories from the Bible, so you are getting the truth right from what God shows us in his own Word. Some of the stories talk about the angels as main characters, while others will simply show them in the background. Since this is a children's book, the author has written it in a way that's easy to understand and follow along with. Each story follows the same order as the Bible does, starting with Genesis and ending with Revelation.

And somewhere close by, the angel who visited John whispered, "Let it be so."

Alida Massari, the illustrator for Angels in the Bible Storybook did such a beautiful job with the artwork. The illustrations in this hardcover book are absolutely stunning and very reminiscent of ancient paintings. I'd actually frame some of the pages if I could.

Angels in the Bible Storybook offers children a valuable learning experience about angels and the role that they play not only in serving God, but in our lives. Although this book is written for children, adults will enjoy it just as much. It would also make a fantastic coffee table book that's sure to strike up curiosity and friendly conversation with guests.

See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.– Exodus 23:20
