Whether at home or on the go, it's good to keep a collection of activity books on hand for little ones. They're a great way to amuse the kids while sitting in waiting rooms or simply just to keep them occupied while you're cooking dinner. If you grab some with multiple educational tasks, then it's a win win! We have recently added a new one to our collection, The Berenstain Bears Bear Country Fun Sticker and Activity Book.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Stan and Jan Berenstain introduced the first Berenstain Bear books in 1962. Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents work together to write about and draw these lovable bears. Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too. Though Stan died in 2005, and Jan in 2012, Mike continues to create the delightful Bear adventures from the family home and studio in Pennsylvania, in an area that looks much like the sunny dirt road deep in Bear Country.
Not only does The Bernstein Bears Bear Country Fun Sticker and Activity Book contain that lovable bear family that a lot of us grew up with, but there are a ton of neat ways to entertain children.
The book is 32 pages long, and contains a mix of fun activities spanned across different age groups. Some of the activities include, but are not limited to writing tasks (letter tracing) and math (counting), mazes, crossword puzzles, and match-ups, while others are more simple such as coloring and scavenger hunts (search and find). Many of them offer extra educational value such as learning the four seasons and completing patterns. Even better are the two additional pages in the back of the book that are completely filled with reusable stickers. What child doesn't love stickers, right? Children will also find some of these stickers helpful in completing several of the activities from the book.
The Bernstein Bears Bear Country Fun Sticker and Activity Book is a great way to keep kids busy while offering a fun learning experience at the same time. I really like that there's plenty of variety throughout the book, so if you're child isn't really into one particular activity, they're bound to find something else in it that they'll actually enjoy. Of course, since it's a Bernstein Bears themed book, children will get to also learn positive values such as helping with chores, praying before meals, and spending quality time with your family.
