Ahh Laundry! With a toddler and my husband's work items, it seems as though we are washing clothes every other day. Just when everything gets folded and put away, there are a few more loads to tackle.
We use several different brands of detergents, and Purex happens to be one of our favorites around here. I have been using this brand for a really long time. It works great and it isn't overpriced. One of my favorites is their Free and Clear formula, especially for my son's clothes. It works great and doesn't irritate his sensitive skin since there's no added fragrances or dyes. Of course, sometimes the laundry needs a little more "oomph" especially when it comes to getting tough stains out.
Now that the warm weather is here, there are going to be more opportunities to spend time outside. This means grass stains, dirt, mud, and maybe even a little barbeque sauce here and there. Hey, I'm not complaining–after all that's what summer is about!
I recently had the opportunity to experience the newest addition to the Purex family of laundry detergents, Purex plus Clorox 2. This detergent combines the strong cleaning power of regular Purex, while adding a boost of the stain fighting enzymes found in Clorox 2. This makes Purex plus Clorox 2 the powerhouse of all detergents, working to remove over 100 different types of stains, including some of the toughest ones such as blood, grass, chocolate, and even tomato sauce.
Purex plus Clorox 2 is perfect for normal, every day use, and you won't have to worry about adding extra stain removers into each load. It's contains no chlorine bleach, so it's completely safe for colors. Plus, it works in all types of washers, including high efficiency machines.
After putting it to the test, I found that it works great at getting both large and small stains out, especially from my husband's work clothes. His days vary–sometimes it's grease stains, sometimes who knows, but this detergent really works. It also helped to brighten up our whites. Plus, the fragrance, which comes in both Original Fresh or Sunny Linen, is really nice and lasts a while, perfect for miscellaneous linens.
I can honestly say that I wasn't a big user of Clorox 2 products before, but I'm really liking this new detergent. If you are looking for something that really works at wiping out tough stains, then I recommend taking the Purex plus Clorox 2 challenge by giving this product a try.
Would you like to give Purex plus Clorox 2 a whirl in your washing machine? I have two extra coupons good towards a FREE bottle of the new Purex plus Clorox 2. I will be picking two winners to each receive one of these coupons, so that they can also try this new product.
