Our Latest Disney Titles and Activity Books from Parragon

Fun in the sun can't come soon enough. As I type this, we are actually up to two feet of snow! Luckily, we have tons of fun activities to keep us occupied while stuck indoors. Take for instance our latest shipment from Parragon Books. Not only did we receive some great Disney titles, but a collection of Start Little Learn Big activity books, which we always enjoy!

Join your favorite Disney Princess Belle for this Beauty and the Beast Collector's Tin. Inside this tin you'll discover an inspiring storybook, an enchanted activity book and an adventurous coloring book.

To celebrate the new live action film, Parragon Books has released a collection of Beauty and the Beast themed activity books and kits. This Disney Princess Beauty and the Beast Collector's Tin is perfect for the little princesses in your life or just about anyone who enjoys the Disney cartoon rendition of this tale. The tin includes four colored markers, a large double-sided poster to color, 50 stickers, a 32-page full color activity book, a small coloring book, and a miniature activity book. The tin is super cute and helps store all of the items that it comes with. It would also make a great storage container for smaller toys and trinkets, later on. I also like that this comes with three separate activity books, so there's definitely enough to keep kids busy.

Simba wants to be a brave king just like his father, but he doesn't expect to inherit the throne of Pride Rock so soon. With the help of his new friends will Simba claim his rightful place in the Circle of Life?

The Lion King is on the top ten list of favorite Disney movies in our household, so we were excited to see this one included. This is a hardcover storybook version of the actual film with full color illustrations of all of our favorite characters. The embossed tin cover image is what really sets this book apart from other book versions of The Lion King, making it visually appealing both inside and out.

The Start Little Learn Big activity books are such a joy to have in our home. Not only do they include a vast array of activities for children of all ages, but the imagery is both colorful and fun to look at. We received three different books from the The Start Little Learn Big collection.

Snug, Bug, Rug Sticker and Draw contains 48 full color activity pages, along with six additional sticker pages. Inside are a series of activities with a main focus on language arts to help children learn new vocabulary words. Each activity offers a learning opportunity and the stickers included in the back of the book help children complete these activities as they partake in match-ups, mazes, tracing, doodling, and other fun tasks. We really enjoyed this book. In addition to all of the exciting activities, we were able to engage in further discussions about what we saw on each page.

Lots of Dots for Little Hands is a book that I've previously featured on my blog in the past, and one that we've been enjoying for a few months now. This book includes activities that are all about connecting the dots. Even better is the fact that many of the connect-the-dot activities involve early learning concepts like counting, since the dots actually have numbers printed on them. Each page in this book is composed of dry erase material and even includes a small dry erase marker to use. What's really great about this book is that once your little one is done with completing each activity, the pages can be wiped completely clean, so it can be used over and over again!

Red, Yellow, Blue Sticker and Draw! is one of my son's favorites, because it gives him a chance to show off his superb color skills. The book includes 48 pages of activities in full color and six pages of stickers. Kids can doodle, color, and complete a variety of different activities and tasks that all involve colors, and even the mixing of different colors to get another one. I particularly like this last part, because my son can confirm his own findings on how blue and red make purple, or how red and yellow make orange.

Can you guess my son's favorite sticker? If you guessed the "whale" then you are correct! 😄

Whether you have a little Disney fan in your home or are looking for ways to keep them busy while indoors, be sure to check out the amazing collection of books and activity kits that Parragon Books has to offer!
