38 FREE Early Learning Printables Inspired by Dr. Seuss

March is always a fun month, because it's dedicated to reading (National Reading Month). Of course, we never need an excuse to enjoy a good book around here. March 2nd is especially noteworthy, because it marks the birthday of the infamous Dr Seuss. Although he is no longer with us, today, his legacy lives on through the wonderful children's books that he has written.

We love Seuss books and have plenty of them in our own home collection. We also enjoy taking part in related activities to commemorate the occasion. In honor of Dr. Seuss' upcoming birthday, I thought it would be fun to share a collection of printable early learning activities that I've personally come across. A lot of these resources are especially handy for younger grade levels.

I have always thought the Dolly Parton program was wonderful. My sister had access to something similar. We didn't but books are a part of life for us so the girls have always had plenty around. I think it is wonderful that you are sharing about these great resources.

My pleasure, Linda! It's a nice time to honor reading and early literacy. Of course in our home, every month is National Reading Month, lol!

Thank you, Lori! I grew up with tons of books and had such a love for reading, and now my son enjoys them just as much. It's wonderful to have these programs that offer free books to children. I'm hoping that others can really benefit from these. :-)
