Making Delicious Recipes with Filippo Berio Olive Oil

I wanted to let everyone know about another excellent product testing company called BzzAgent. I know some of you may have heard of them before or you may already be a member. For those who are not familiar with BzzAgent, I would love to tell you about it.

BzzAgent is a social marketing company that allows consumers to take part in product campaigns. Depending on the campaign, members may have the opportunity to try products, and in return share their experiences through reviews, social networking, photos, etc.

With BzzAgent, constant membership participation is key in order to be invited to special campaigns. This means that you should have your profile up-to-date, complete all profile surveys, and always follow through with any current campaigns that you may already be a part of.  It’s a great place to share your experiences with products and gain opportunities to try new products. You also get to read about everyone else’s campaign experiences.

Right now, I am involved in three separate BzzAgent campaigns. One of those campaigns is for Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I am a big advocate for olive oil, so I am pleased to take part in this campaign. There are so many health benefits that come with using olive oil, and it is so versatile.

Here is the campaign kit that was sent to me:

I love the jar opener. I used to have one of these a while back, but it somehow disappeared. I was so happy to see that one of these was included! Another neat addition was the olive oil substitution magnet. It provides basic measurement conversion of butter/margarine to olive oil. Here is a graphic from the Filippo Berio website that will give you an idea of what I mean:

I had a lot fun incorporating the Filippo Berio brand into all my food dishes, and at the same time, felt good about using something that was so healthy for my family and me.

There was really no limit to what you could make. I decided to make a few of my favorites, below, using Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

I also made a yummy Red Wine Vinaigrette using extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, pepper and minced garlic. I poured this all over a kale, cucumber, and feta cheese salad, which tasted so delicious!

It also makes a great dipping sauce for fresh bread. Try mixing a little bit of olive oil, salt, pepper, fresh minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and basil into a small dish, and dip away. YUM!

Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil is 100% natural and is high in monounsaturated fats (good fats). It also free from trans fat, cholesterol, sugar, salt, and gluten. This in turn can help reduce the risk of high blood pressure, blood sugar, and heart disease. Olive oil has also been known to aid in digestion and promote healthy aging.
