It’s almost that time of year, again--back-to-school time, and
that means tax-free weekends for select States. Tax-free weekends are a great time to shop for
children’s clothing, technology, and regular school supplies without having to incur
any sales tax. Unfortunately, not all States are participating in this and
there are some limitations.
Here is a list of States (linked to their taxation websites) that will be participating in the
tax-free event and the dates for each one:
- Alabama: August 3-5, 2012
- Arkansas: August 4-5, 2012
- Connecticut: August 19-25, 2012
- Florida: August 3-5, 2012
