NEW Blog Hop Changes Coming Soon...

As some of you may already know, my husband and I have a baby on the way (WE ARE SO BEYOND EXCITED!!). With our baby boy’s initial arrival, there may be times when I won’t always be able to get online to blog. I will still try to post as many deals, reviews, and freebie offers as I can, but during the first couple of weeks of his birth, those posts may be sporadic.
Having said that, I was wondering what I should do about the Harvest of Friends Weekend Blog Hop, since I typically try posting it every week.

I was originally thinking about putting the weekend hop on a little hiatus, but I honestly don’t want to do that, especially since I have received such wonderful comments from those who link up about how much they appreciate the hop and how it has given them a great opportunity to network with other bloggers. These comments always mean a lot to me and I never take them lightly.

So after racking my brain, I think I’ve finally come up with a solution that will hopefully benefit everyone, without necessarily completely doing away with a blog hop on here. I have decided to stop holding an actual weekend hop, and instead will be hosting a brand new monthly hop where bloggers can join in on the link-up fun all month-long! I feel that this would be a good way to still be able to host a linky party on my blog, where everyone can stop by and enjoy networking with other bloggers in the blogosphere.

So starting November 1, 2013 I am going to give it a trial run. A new monthly hop will go live and replace the Harvest of Friends Weekend Blog Hop (I'll still host two more weekends of the weekend hop in October). This new hop will be called the Everyday Friends Monthly Blog & Social Media Hop. Not only will there be a place to link up the home page of your blog, but you will also have the opportunity to link up your social media sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, and Google+.

I hope to see current Harvest of Friends Weekend Blog Hop participants join in on the new monthly hop when it opens. It always makes me so happy to see folks return, so I would love to see you back! :-)
