Sometime our lives can get quite busy. Little ones might not always understand the multitude of responsibilities that their mother and father have. That's why it is so important to reassure them that no matter how busy we are, we'll always have time for them. That's the whole premise behind Busy Busy by Eileen Spinelli.

Eileen Spinelli, wife of famed children's author Jerry Spinelli, is an award winning children's book author from southeastern Pennsylvania. She has produced numerous books for young children that combine the author's love of rhyme with her understanding of how young people view the world.

This is a wonderful board book perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. The illustrations by Elina Ellis are beautiful and full of vibrant colors throughout. Readers will follow along many animals and creatures as they go about their day guessed it, busy! The text is written in cheerful rhyming prose, making it a lot of fun to read.

We really enjoy reading books that include nature, especially animals and insects. It's the perfect opportunity to present an educational experience for my son. Whenever we get books like this, he can freshen up on his knowledge of God's many creatures, while also discovering new ones.

Busy Busy is a sweet book that will be sure to entice little ones as they read about the many tasks of creatures all around. The moral of the story also offers a wonderful reminder that no matter how busy the day gets, there's always time for sharing love and spending quality time with our family.
