Indulge Your Sweet Tooth: Treatsie Artisan Sweets Box

I'm not afraid to admit that I have quite the sweet tooth. Hey, it's all about moderation, right?! When we travel to new places, I always enjoy visiting the gifts shops to check out the yummy treats that are signature to that area–items that you may not find elsewhere. That's what I really like about Treatsie. You see, it's a subscription box filled with all kinds of artisan treats that can be delivered right to your front door. Every month a new box arrives filled with gourmet confections, such as candy or cookies. Treatsie is not just any snack subscription box, either. The items that you'll find inside all come from small confectioners throughout the United States, so you are getting high-quality, one of a kind treats that you may have never tried before.

The box arrived in a cute little pink package. You'll also receive a card that lists everything inside, along with a little information on each item. I recently received the Sweet Summertime July Box that included all types of mouth-watering indulgences to get the taste buds going.

Treatsie Nectar Pops: I'm not a huge lollipop fan, but these particular ones did catch my interest. Perhaps it was how cool they looked or the fact that each lollipop included freeze-dried berries for natural flavoring. I received two varieties to try, Raspberry Lime and Blueberry & Acai. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how flavorful they were. I am particularly a fan of lime, so I really enjoyed the Raspberry Lime, but both were equally tasty. Plus, the anticipation of getting down to the freeze-dried berries was actually kind of fun (like the healthier version of a Tootsie Pop).

Marlo's Bakeshop Soft-Baked Biscotti: This brand is a biscotti that includes the best of both worlds. There is some crunch that you would expect from a traditional Italian biscotti, but it's not over the top. I personally enjoy biscotti with a nice hot cup of coffee or tea, but they can be a bit hard at times for my liking. This biscotti offers a more delicate crumb texture–sort of a happy mix between crunchy and soft, which makes them perfect. Plus, they're also Non-GMO Verified, which is a huge bonus in my book. I received two different flavors to try, Chocolate Chip Brownie and Brown Sugar Coffee Cake. Chocolate Chip Brownie is perfect for chocolate lovers. It was pretty tasty and had just the right amount of dark chocolate chips, so it was indulgent, but not overly rich. The Brown Sugar Coffee Cake was really good, and favorite of the two. The blend of ingredients and flavors were right up my alley with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and almond extract (some of my personal favorite ingredients to bake with). I have to be honest, this is probably one of the best biscotti brands that I've ever tasted. I would definitely purchase more of these in the future.

Marshmallow Farms Classic Crispy Squares: Who doesn't love a good marshmallow and crisped rice treat? I personally enjoy making them at home, but when I took a glance at this brand, I couldn't wait to give it a try. The size was huge, I actually ended up splitting this one with my husband. I could have eaten the whole thing by myself, but he was probably doing me a favor (a minute on the know the rest). Besides sharing is caring, right? Not only did this crispy marshmallow treat taste delicious, but the consistency was so soft and fresh as if it were just made (got to love those humanly-raised cage free marshmallows).

Dallas Caramel Company Assortment: I have a sweet spot (no pun intended) for anything caramel. Caramel lattes, warm caramel for dipping apple slices, and even caramel candies, I enjoy them all. You can imagine how excited I was to see a cute little burlap sack filled with a few gourmet pieces in my box. I received five different flavors to try, Sea Salt, Cinnamon, Chocolate, Apple Pie, and Texas Drunken Nut. The only flavor that I didn't try was the Drunken Nut. The combined ingredient list mentioned that one of these caramels included whiskey, so I could only assume it was that one. Other than that I did try the other four, which were all really yummy–they practically melted in my mouth! My absolute favorite was the Apple Pie. It tasted just like fresh apple cobbler with caramel drizzles. So delicious!

If indulging on gourmet snacks such as handmade caramels and soft-baked biscotti sounds good to you, then you're probably going to love the Treatsie box. Why not give it a try? Each box is $19 a month, but you can receive a discount for longer subscription plans. Subscribing can be easily done online and you are able to cancel at anytime if not completely satisfied. I like that you can also purchase many of your favorite items from each box, individually, just by going to their online shop. If you have a friend or loved one who also has a sweet tooth, a Treatsie subscription would make a wonderful gift for them on special occasions or pretty much anytime of the year.

Right now, they're even running a special where you can receive double the treats in your very first box–perfect for sharing!
