The Biggest Story {DVD/CD GIVEAWAY} ~ How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the Garden

What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words "Snake Crusher?" If you thought about Jesus, then you're right on point! To be honest, I had previously never really heard of this title, so I wasn't sure if it was a title that had always been given our Lord and Savior. Either way, it makes total sense! Best-selling author, Kevin DeYoung, used these words to describe Jesus and His ultimate goal to redeem us from sin.

I'm so excited to be sharing a fabulous new DVD and CD based upon DeYoung's children's book, The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the Garden.

The Bible is full of exciting stories that fill children with awe and wonder. But kids need to know how all those classic stories connect to Scripture’s overarching message about God’s glorious plan to redeem his rebellious people. In The Biggest Story, Kevin DeYoung—a best-selling author and father of six—leads kids and parents alike on an exciting journey through the Bible, connecting the dots from the garden of Eden to Christ's death on the cross to the new heaven and new earth.

Featuring beautiful illustrations adapted from the book, The Biggest Story: The Animated Short Film will captivate children as they are led on an exciting journey through the Bible in 26 minutes, connecting the dots from the garden of Eden to Christ's death on the cross to the new heaven and new earth. Narrated by the author, this imaginative retelling of the Bible’s core message—how the Snake Crusher brings us back to the garden—will teach children that God's promises are even bigger and better than we think.

Narrated by the author, this 26-minute audio book—complete with music and sound effects—retells the Bible’s core message, showing children that God's promises are even bigger and better than we think.

Don lives with his wife and their three children on a ranch thirty minutes southeast of Seattle.

We've been putting our eyes and ears to some good use while watching the animated short film and listening to the audio book version of The Biggest Story. Including major points in the Bible, the author narrates a paraphrased version that includes 10 chapters, about 2 to 3 minutes each. Since both the CD and DVD are approximately 26 minutes long, the message is straight to the point about God's plan for redemption. Included in the narration is a selection of beautiful background music composed by John Poon.

Along with a wonderful adaptation of the Bible's core message, the DVD version includes awe-inspiring abstract illustrations done by Don Clark. The artwork is truly one of a kind and like none that I have ever seen in other Bible story films. In fact, everything about this whole set is exceptional!

Both the DVD and CD also come with a small 2-sided posted (each one is different) featuring artwork adapted right from the book. Both posters are gorgeous and definitely worthy of hanging up. The DVD also contains an additional access code to download a free digital copy of the film.

Everything about this DVD/CD combo is captivating! Having the CD version is nice, because my family and I can listen to it in the car while out and about. The DVD version offers that same story along with an amazing visual experience. If you are looking for a new way to take in the message of God's glorious plan for our redemption, then you'll definitely want check out The Biggest Story.

Right now, I'm even more excited, because I am also giving away The Biggest Story on both DVD and CD! How neat is that?! For your chance to win, please follow the Rafflecopter prompts, below.
